Define a Problem
The purpose of this project is to see how the bridges are engineered and why they are built a certain way. Also it is great practice for the program. One of the main constraints is that you cant go over $400,000. And of course, the bridge must support the truck.

The main thing I learned was that bridges are hard to build, and expensive. I also learned that I see why people that do blueprints must be really educated cause one mistake can destroy and harm people. The type of direction of stress applied affects the material type I chose and the cross sectional area by making it stretch because of the weight it holds. The forces of compression and tension can work together. If the bottom or the compression is not being absolutely bent by the top weight then it will be able to stabilize the bridge. Then again there should always be leeway just in case like in our test, there is a large truck going over it.
