Define A Problem
To learn how to create our own truss and to learn to calculate them using logger pro and just getting a visual example of a truss.

Static determinacy affected our my design since they had to equal in the 2(J)=M+R formula. If they didn't they wouldn't be able to be solved. To estimate the force my design would support, I made the load a single 50lb on one point of each truss design. Since we are using very fragile sticks I figured 50 would be a pretty good estimation at the peak of the force needed to break a structure made out of it.

Evaluate Solution
The first two rows are wight and force. Weight is just the trusses weight in grams and the force is the force it took to break the truss. Efficiency just means that the higher the number the better the truss is.

Conclusion
I think failure happened where it did because the part broke off yesterday and we had to do a patch job. Maybe the glue didn't go in between the wood pieces and when we tested it, it remained weakened. Since it broke there it didn't break we calculated that it would. If i could fix it, i would make the height smaller and make the triangle equal on each side so the force would be evenly spread out.
